چکیده
In the present study, new emerging 2D Mxene nanosheets (MXNSs) were synthesized from MAX phase powders of Ti3AlC2 and then characterized using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) X-ray diffraction (XRD) to explore chemical physical properties prepared MXNS. The characterization MXNS indicated formation exfoliated MXene (Ti3C2) as result HF treatment phase, which was confirmed by XRD measurements, characteristic peaks only observed. used solid adsorbent for removing malachite green dye (MG) water. effects different operational factors such dose, solution temperature, time, MG concentration, pH, ionic strength have also been evaluated. adsorption results showed that temperature solution, well its significantly influenced removal when optimum obtained within 150 min, with 20 mg at ambient pH value 6.0. maximum capacity 4.6 per g 5 efficacy 46.0%, minimum 2.5 99.1%. Finally, displayed able absorb high percentage maintained reasonable efficiency four consecutive cycles, indicating could be promising in wastewater remediation environmental sustainability.

Contaminated water is the primary source of any disease. Water may be contaminated by number of pollutants and dyes are one of them. Malachite green (MG) dye is widely used as biocide in the aquaculture industry to controls fungal attacks, protozoan infections and also used in food and textile industries for various purposes. Surface and ground water is contaminated with dyes due to discharge o...

Background & Aims of the Study: Malachite Green (MG) is the most commonly used substance for dying cotton, food & pharmacy industries, paper, leather and silk. On inhalation it can cause difficult breathing, while on the direct contact it may cause permanent injury of the eyes of human and animals, burning sensations, nausea, vomiting, profuse sweating, mental confusion and met...
متن کاملRemoval of Malachite Green from Contaminated Water using Electro-Coagulation Technique
Considerable amount of unconsumed dyes from textile, paper and printing industries are being discharged into water bodies, every day. The presence of dyes and pigments in water causes considerable damage to the aquatic environment [1]. These contaminants result in high chemical oxygen demand (COD), high biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), toxicity, bad smell, and are mainly responsible for the col...
